Big thangz cummin’ from da wrists that are wired. Long gone are the days of recording in Riverdale. Although I’ll soon be chillin in Baltimore, I’ll be sleeping in the ‘Dale until the last days of April. However, the studio is now located at a place called The Barn in Brookeville, MD.
The Barn is an actual recording studio, built from the ground up by Bruce Falkinburg, studio engineer and member of the band, The Hidden Hand. The place has two tracking rooms and a control room, and operates from eleven in the morning all the way to midnight. Bruce used to share the place with a man (who I consider my recording mentor), Paul Leavitt. Now I share the place with Bruce, and I’m mad excited.

I’ve also started an internship/assistant position under the tutelage of producer J. Robbins. I’ve learned a lot from J., helping out on recordings from Avec, Debate, and Modern Life Is War, and I couldn’t be more excited learning from him every day that I’m there.
More soon!
